HOW DO ALL-ELECTRIC CARS WORK?

Jaguar all-electric performance is powered by two electric motors with a battery. Charged by plugging into an external power supply and regenerative braking, it requires no petrol or diesel and produces zero tailpipe emissions.

WHAT ARE THEY LIKE TO DRIVE?

A pure electric powertrain is not only incredibly quiet, it's able to deliver smooth and instant acceleration with seamless gearshift changes. For sports car agility, we position our battery between the axles, giving a low centre of gravity and near perfect weight distribution. All-electric Jaguar I‑PACE takes you from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds.

HOW DO I CHARGE AN ALL-ELECTRIC CAR?

All-electric cars can be charged using a professionally installed home charger, a domestic socket, and at many public charging locations such as gyms, shopping centres and motorway services.

YOUR RECOMMENDED ENGINE IS - PETROL

INTRODUCTION TO PETROL

Our petrol vehicles are an ideal choice for drivers who primarily take shorter journeys and tend to drive fewer kilometres on the motorway.

All our new petrol vehicles utilise the latest technology, including GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filters) to help reduce emissions.

  • Well suited to dynamic or high-performance driving
  • Typically more suited to shorter urban journeys than diesels.
  • EU6 compliant with cutting-edge technology to reduce emissions.

  • More tailpipe CO₂ emissions than diesel engines.

YOUR RECOMMENDED ENGINE IS - DIESEL

INTRODUCTION TO DIESEL

All our vehicles fitted with Jaguar's new Diesel engines are a great fit for drivers predominantly taking longer journeys on motorways with some city travel.

All our diesel vehicles are fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and use Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to meet stringent regulations and lower tailpipe emissions.

  • Typically more fuel efficient than petrol engines.
  • Torque characteristics suitable for off-road terrain, towing and long motorway journeys.
  • EU6 compliant for emissions with CO₂ level approximately 20% below petrol.

  • New diesel won't always be at its efficient best if you only take short trips or mostly drive in cities.

YOUR RECOMMENDED POWERTRAIN IS - ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV)

INTRODUCTION TO EV

Powered by a battery-operated electric motor and recharged using a plug-in charge point, our Electric Vehicles (EV) are perfect for city driving, regular short journeys and occasional longer runs.

  • Electric vehicles produce zero tailpipe emissions.
  • Typically offers a spacious interior and near silent drive.
  • Lower running costs and the convenience of charging at home vs refilling at a service station.
  • A range of incentives are available to encourage drivers to purchase an electric vehicle.

  • Range can vary widely based on temperature, weather conditions and driving style.
