2024 marks the last lap for the Jaguar F-TYPE internal combustion engine sports car. To pay homage to it's racing heritage, the hand-painted racing-style door roundels is where the racing number would sit and has remained on the car (without a number).
The F-TYPE will forever hold a special place in the hearts of sports car enthusiasts around the world. From its iconic shape to its head-turning appeal. And as Jaguar moves towards the near-silent running of its all-electric future, the sound of the V8 engine will never be forgotten by those fortunate enough to have heard it roar.
Drawing inspiration from the vintage Jaguar E-type, only 150 limited edition Jaguar F-TYPE ZP sports cars with 575PS Supercharged V8 engines will see out the end of an era will be available worldwide, with only 24 that will be making their way to Australia. Australia will receive 12 Coupés finished in Oulton Blue Gloss paint and 12 Coupés in Crystal Grey Gloss, priced from $373, 547 plus on road costs, with deliveries expected from May 2024.
Two F-TYPE ZP Edition colourways are available from May, recalling the first race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-types campaigned shortly after the model’s launch in 1961: Oulton Blue Gloss paint with Mars Red and Ebony duotone. Leather interior or Crystal Grey Gloss paint with Navy Blue and Ebony duotone leather interior. Both feature Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and Porcelain White Gloss grille surrounds.
Neither exterior colour paint has been offered before for the F-TYPE, adding to its exclusive one-of-a-kind status.
This final 2024 model is the benchmark for an engaging, driver-focused sports car with a distinctive V8 soundtrack. With 575PS, 700Nm of torque and an all-wheel drive system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology, performance is exceptional on all surfaces and in all weathers: 0-60mph takes as little as 3.5 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 186mph.
These 24 limited edition Jaguar F-TYPE ZP honour Jaguar’s distinguished bloodline and are the pinnacle of sports car capability.
As the icon with a sound so legendary its V8 revs are now with the British Library - archived for all time - says goodbye, one thing is for sure; it won’t go quietly.
